Uniting’s Men’s Behaviour Change Program provides individual and group counselling for men who use violence against their families.

• Programs are delivered in Heidelberg, Epping, Reservoir and Broadmeadows.
• Groups include an Arabic speaking and a South Asian program.

Fathering Program

Uniting’s Safe Dads program provides individual and group counselling for fathers who use violence against their families.

Safe Dads focuses on:

• Fathers being accountable for their use of violence
• A focus on children’s developmental and safety needs
• The importance of respectful and equitable relationships
• How fathers can support women in their parenting role

Adolescent Violence in the Home

• Casework and counselling for families
• Step Up – parent/child group, for families of a young person aged 12 – 17 years who is perpetrating family violence.

Men’s/father engagement worker

Uniting’s Men’s/Father engagement worker assists men to engage with MBCPs and fathering programs in order to stop their use of violence against women and children.  The Men’s/Father engagement worker works closely with Uniting’s Integrated Family Violence Program, MBCP and Integrated Family Services.
